The world discusses Kim Jong-un’s weight loss

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who has lost weight, has sparked a wave of rumors about his worsening health due to his weight loss. According to the South Korean news agency Yonhap, the North Korean leader has become significantly thinner in a year.

However, The Guardian noted that Kim Jong-Un is struggling with excess weight. Thus, in 2011, he began to add an average of 6-7 pounds a year and in 2020 weighed 140 kg.

It’s not clear what this change is related to – an illness or the desire for a healthy lifestyle. CNN has speculated that the North Korean leader may have undergone complicated heart surgery and is currently suffering from internal organ failure.
